Friesens Supports STARS

| Community

As part of Friesens Employee-Directed Giving Campaign, we were pleased to yet again support STARS Air Ambulance and the vital services it provides to local, rural, and remote areas of our community and beyond.

STARS is a charitable, non-profit organization funded by individuals, organizations, business, event partners and governments. For more than 30 years, their success has been grounded in community partnerships and donations, and they are committed to continuing those alliances and provide life-saving services well into the future. With STARS, those being transported to major medical centers receive the very best care via helicopters staffed and outfitted as mobile ICUs.

Recently, through our employee-directed giving campaign, we were happy to provide a donation in the amount of $11,831 to STARS Air Ambulance.

“We are a proud supporter of STARS Air Ambulance that provides exceptional service for Manitobans. We appreciate how STARS provides unparalleled emergency responsiveness to rural Manitoba.”

The Friesens Employee-Directed Giving Campaign enables every employee to vote for a local organization they feel would benefit the most from Friesens charitable giving. The number of votes directly affects the amount received by the organization. We are happy to be part of these sponsorship programs, giving back to the community so that our employee-owners, local businesses, and families can grow and thrive together.
